TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER:
Callum is 19 years old and from London. He's a working class lad who's been brought up by his mum Trisha. If it wasn't for his gift with a football he could easily have been a "down and out". But his tough upbringing has given him the drive to go for something better. He's a bit of a live-wire who makes decisions from the heart.

SUM CALLUM UP IN THREE WORDS:
Passionate, loyal, cheeky.

ARE THERE ANY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN YOU AND CALLUM?
Once I get going I can be a bit of a live wire too. I think we both know how to enjoy ourselves. Another thing we share is loyalty - the need to protect loved ones at all costs.

WHAT ARE THE KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOU AND CALLUM?
I think the key difference is the family structure. Callum is from a broken home. He's had no father figure in his life and has had the pressure of being the man of the house. I'm lucky, as I come from a very solid family structure with two very loving parents and an amazing sister.

WOULD YOU LIKE OR DISLIKE YOUR CHARACTER CALLUM IF YOU WERE INTRODUCED IN REAL LIFE?
I think if I met Callum in real life we'd probably get on very well. It could be a dangerous combination, although I think it would be me who would draw the line if nights out got too raucous. We'd be able to relate in terms of ambition and striving for more.

WHAT THREE WORDS BEST DESCRIBE YOU?
Ambitious, mischievous, dedicated.

CAN YOU PLAY FOOTBALL?
Unfortunately my football skills aren't as strong as I'd like to think! Being a proud Welsh thoroughbred, I mainly played rugby when I was growing up. I played to a high standard, representing Swansea County and West Wales at the age of 13, and then I started straying towards acting.

HOW DOES CALLUM GET ON WITH THE OTHER PLAYERS?
Callum commands a huge deal of respect from the other players. As a footballer, he is someone that they feel blessed to play with. As a friend I think the older players would probably like to take him under their wing. Although he is very capable of looking after himself.

CALLUM HAS A HUGE CRUSH ON SHANNON - TELL US ABOUT THIS:
Callum has adored Shannon for years. In his mid-teens she was the girl all the guys talked about. She was a girl Callum thought he'd never speak to let alone date. He's seen her in magazines, on TV, collected the posters - you name it! And when by chance they do meet, he's not the type to let the opportunity go by.

DO YOU THINK THEY WILL END UP TOGETHER?
I really do hope Shannon and Callum will end up together. They're both very much in love. However Callum's mum, Tricia, is incredibly protective over him. If she could, Tricia would make Callum live at home with her forever. Callum and Shannon are crazy about each other, but a desperate mum is capable of anything!

DO YOU THINK CALLUM AND SHANNON ARE WELL SUITED?
I think Shannon is perfect for Callum. She has first hand experience in dealing with the pressures of adapting to a high profile life. Plus she's gorgeous and he's loaded - isn't that the way it works?!

CALLUM IS FROM A WORKING CLASS BACKGROUND AND SUDDENLY HITS THE BIG TIME. TELL US WHAT HE IS EXPERIENCING?
It's all happened so quickly for Callum that it hasn't really sunken in yet. Callum is not the type who is phased easily. Just months ago he was average joe, now he plays for a premiership club, dates a goddess whilst being paid a fortune! He's loving every minute of it.

CAN YOU RELATE TO THIS?
I'm also a working class lad who grew up with dreams of success. Landing this part in Footballers' Wives has taken me a huge leap closer to that dream. It may not be as extreme a leap as Callum's but I can totally relate to it.

DESCRIBE WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND IS LIKE?
I was born and bred in Swansea where I lived with my Mother, Father and younger sister. We are a very close family and the support from my parents was immense. They pulled out all the stops to help me achieve my goals.

HIS MOTHER IS QUITE DOMINEERING - HAVE YOU EVER MET ANYONE LIKE HER?
Not on this scale - she is a rare monster!

DO YOU THINK CALLUM WILL EVER STAND UP TO HIS MUM?
Over the course of the series, what happens to Callum forces his to grow up a lot. This, along with Shannon's insight has made him realise that maybe its time for him to have more independence. I'm almost certain that some form of stand off between him and his mum is inevitable!

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU MOST TO THIS ROLE?
I felt I could identify with Callum in a lot of ways. I admired his honesty and his loyalty and he has a real 'fire' about him that I wanted to play. I also liked that he and his mum were so much against everything that I related to Footballers' Wives.

DID YOU HAVE TO DO ANY PREPARATION FOR THE ROLE
The main thing I had to prepare for was the accent. Callum is from South London, I am from South Wales. I was fairly confident speaking in the accent having studied it at RADA and used it for characters in the past. I decided that for the whole audition process I would only speak to the audition panel in South London accent - even when I wasn't in character. They only heard me speak with a Welsh accent after I got the part. I was given a dialect coach prior to the start of filming just to make sure it was accurate.

HAD YOU WATCHED FOOTBALLERS' WIVES BEFORE TAKING THE ROLE?
Before I'd started filming I'd never watched the show. I had only vaguely heard of Tanya Turner because I had seen a clip of "that aeroplane scene". What more can I say?!

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR CHARACTERS CLOTHES AND ACESSORIES?
Callum has never really taken much of an interest in fashion. He's very happy in your average Ben Sherman shirt, a pair of jeans and some loafers. I suppose you'd describe him as 'chav'.

WOULD YOU PERSONALLY WEAR THE SAME STYLE CLOTHES CALLUM WEARS?
Not a chance - although since his relationship with Shannon, Callum's style has started to improve.

WHAT IS THE BEST OUTFIT YOU HAVE SO FAR HAD TO WEAR FOR THIS SERIES?
I don't know whether I would call it the best but the most fun was a shirt I wore for a party that Shannon and Callum throw. It was made up of big flamboyant pink, white and red flowers accompanied by a pair of whitest trousers - yum!

WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL STYLE
I've always tried to look smart but I'm not someone who clings to those things in order to feel good about myself. I'm of the attitude - "Yeah, that'll do".

DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVOURITE BRANDS/DESIGNERS?
At the moment I'm more of a High Street man, but since starting the show I have started to become more interested in brands - probably because I can afford some of them now! Which is nice.

DO YOU EVER TREAT YOURSELF TO EXOTIC OR LUXURY HEALTH TREATMENTS?
The most exotic I get is 5 minutes in the steam room at the local gym. Someone once described me as a "soap and water kinda guy". I'm rough and ready and not really into all that airy-fairy stuff.

HOW DO YOU KEEP IN SHAPE?
I try and get to the gym about 3 times a week. It doesn't always end up that way but the thought's there. I've also tried to improve my diet and not east as many burgers... I love burgers.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO RELAX?
I love to sit on my bed with a nice cold beer, pick up my guitar, write a song and have a good old sing for an hour or two.

IF YOU SUDDENLY RECEIVED A HUGE PREMIERSHIP FOOTBALLER'S SALARY OVERNIGHT - WHAT IS THE FIRST LUXURY ITEM YOU WOULD RUSH OUT AND BUY?
I'm not very materialistic but I have a big crush on the Aston Martin DB9 so I'd buy one of them (or maybe two).

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING INVOLVED WITH FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
Having trained for three years to be an actor, landing a show like Footballers' Wives so soon is just unbelievable. The character is great, the people are incredible, the cars, the girls - what more could I ask for!

AND THE WORST?
As time goes on and the screening gets nearer I have found myself getting a little anxious about my work. Once a scene is shot, it's gone and out of my hands, recorded forever and soon to be shown to millions - which is a bit scary.

WHAT DO YOUR FRIENDS OR FAMILY THINK ABOUT YOU BEING IN THE SHOW?
Everybody back home is over the moon. A lot of people at the local pub have always taken a keen interest in my development and getting this part has made me a bit of a hero. Since I was a young boy my dad always used to get a feeling about a part that I would get. It's happened a few times. When he said he had one about this I really hoped he was right.

HAVE YOU FILMED A MEMORABLE SCENE YET?
One of the most fun scenes to film so far was Shannon and Callum's party. It was good to get all the characters together in one big scene and especially because it was so dramatic.

WHAT IS IT LIKE FILMING AT ALL THE GLAMOROUS LOCATIONS? IS FOOTBALLERS' WIVES AS GLAMOROUS AS IT LOOKS?
It's fantastic. Filming at Shannon's house is a real treat. I've often heard people say "See, it's not as glamorous as it looks". But I don't know what the hell they are on about because it feels pretty glamourous to me! But maybe I'm still in the honeymoon period. I haven't had to drive a smart car yet, that would be good. I hope Callum buys one. Soon.

WHAT IS THE FUNNIEST THING YOU'VE BEEN ASKED TO DO IN THESE SERIES?
In once scene I have to eat some fancy seafood. I'm a very fussy eater and not a fan of seafood. Thankfully neither is Callum so I was allowed to spit it out. However immediately after spitting it out I have to go for my first snog with Shannon. As if I wasn't bad enough, I had a mouth full of fish!

DO YOU THINK FOOTBALLERS' WIVES IS AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF THE PREMIERSHIP FOOTBALL WORLD?
I think it takes reality and sees it through a magnifying glass. It's satire. I think these kind of events do happen but we just have them more. And better.

WHICH CHARACTER DOES CALLUM BOND WITH MOST ON THE SHOW?
It has to be Shannon. They're practically joined at the hip.

HAVE YOU MADE GOOD FRIENDS WITH ANY OF THE CAST?
So far most of my scenes have been with Sarah, who plays Shannon, so we've spent a lot of time together. We get on really well. She's been great fun to work with and has been a real help to get me settled in to this new life. A bit like Shannon and Callum.

DOES CALLUM NOT GET ON WELL WITH ANY OF THE OTHER PLAYERS?
Callum thinks Bruno is an arse, but who doesn't? It seems like Bruno always has something to prove and tries to do so, therefore provoking Callum. Callum is quite intimidated by him but if it came to blows he's ready to go all the way.

WHAT STORYLINES CAN VIEWERS LOOK FORWARD TO?
Shannon finds new love in Callum, if they can just get past the mother from hell. Trisha tries the worst tricks in the book to break them up which ultimately leads to some "Jerry Springer" style bust-ups!

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE THE FUTURE TO BE FOR YOUR CHARACTER?
As an outsider I'd like Callum to play for England and live happily ever after with Shannon. But Craig the actor would like for something rockier and grittier.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I love to sing and write my own songs. I can spend hours recording and producing them on my home computer. I also enjoy going to the cinema and going out with some mates for a strut on the dance floor.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER INTERESTS BESIDES ACTING?
Welsh Rugby!

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND BROUGHT UP?
I was born and bred in Swansea.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?
I moved to London when I was 18 to study at RADA. I've been living here ever since. I love the fast-paced lifestyle of London.

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR CAREER:
I kind of fell in to acting at the age of 12 when my sister's singing teacher asked if I'd like to audition for Oliver in the West End. I got a part in Fagin's gang. Since then I've done bits and bobs. A BAFTA Award winning drama called "Care", the UK tour of Joseph, then RADA. A week after finishing RADA I got the part in Footballers' Wives.

WHAT ROLE ARE YOU MOST WELL KNOWN FOR?
Come March - Callum in Footballers' Wives.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL ACTING ROLE?
My first professional role was as Charlie Bates from Fagin's gang in Oliver at the London Palladium. I moved to London at the age of 12, performing to 2500 people a night - an awesome experience.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ALL TIME CHARACTER YOU HAVE PLAYED?
The MC from Cabaret. He has so much agenda underneath that flamboyant exterior. It was fantastic trying to understand and portray such a complex mess of a guy.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST EVER PAID JOB?
Apart from the odd car cleaning stint at home for £5 it was acting in Oliver. I've been lucky enough to have never had a non-performing job. I've always sung or acted for my supper.

DO YOU SUPPORT A FOOTBALL TEAM?
Since starting the show I've been to see Swansea City play a few times at the new stadium that's just been built. It's given me a new passion for the team and turned me into a true Swansea Jack.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE ALL TIME FOOTBALLER?
Ryan Giggs.

WHAT IS YOUR STAR SIGN?
Aquarius.

WHAT AGE ARE YOU?
21.
