TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.
Tanya is still getting up to no good, but this series she's more indulgent towards herself in many ways. She still loves Jason very much, but is no longer happy to sit back and accept his behaviour as part of her 'job'. She's playing him at his own game - and enjoying it. She's doing more for herself.
WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING IN FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
I'm still going to bed at night and looking forward to getting up at 5.30am. The crew, the cast, the locations, the costumes... the scripts! Being part of this production makes me really happy. It's a fantastic part, and a fantastic job. Outside the production, we've also had the opportunity to go to some fantastic events and meet all sorts of lovely and interesting people. And it also means that we can raise money for charity as a result of having been in Footballers' Wives.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?
I love that she's such a survivor. Tanya's very resourceful, mentally. She'll always manage to get herself out of any scrapes that she and Jase have got themselves into. I love that she's a bitch when she needs to be, but that she also has a very vulnerable side. She has many layers.
WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?
That she honestly believes that without Jason, she's nothing. And that she's so motivated by money and status.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER AT ALL? HOW DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD GET ON WITH THEM IF YOU MET THEM IN REAL LIFE?
There are aspects of Tanya that are definitely Zoe, but they stop at her more vulnerable side. I guess to a certain extent we're both survivors, but I wouldn't go to the extremes that Tanya does and I certainly wouldn't use people the way she does to get on in life. I'd love to go for a night out with Tanya though - I think she's brilliant. And I'd love her to trust me, and in turn show me her true colours.
DO YOU LIKE THE CLOTHES THAT YOUR CHARACTER WEARS? WOULD YOU WEAR THEM AS YOURSELF?
I love Tanya's clothes. Last series, I loved them but I probably wouldn't have worn many of them as Zoe. This series Tanya's become more elegant. All the Maria Grachvogel and Amanda Wakely outfits that she wears this time are stunning - I'd definitely wear them. I've started to wear a lot more colour recently as a result of this series' wardrobe for Tanya.
WHAT DO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY THINK OF YOUR ROLE IN FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
They love it. They love Footballers' Wives, and they love Tanya!
HOW DO PEOPLE REACT TO YOU ON THE STREET? DO YOU GET RECOGNISED?
People are always very polite and complimentary. Yes, I do get recognised a lot - much more so if I have my hair down and I'm wearing heels. Oh, and the nails are a bit of a giveaway. People sometimes look and you see them thinking 'Is it or isn't it?'... then they see the nails.
WHAT SCENE HAVE YOU MOST ENJOYED OR HATED FILMING SO FAR (IN EITHER SERIES ONE OR TWO)?
I love filming the really dramatic, passionate scenes with Jason (Cristian Solimeno) when they kick off with each other, and I love all the scheming scenes with Nurse Dunkley. I really enjoyed the chat show scenes when Tanya was interviewed by Chardonnay (Susie Amy). But I hated the swimming scenes which we filmed for the title sequence.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR CHARACTER'S HOUSE? AND THE CARS? DO YOU THINK YOU'D LIKE TO LIVE THAT SORT OF LIFESTYLE?
I love the cars. I'd probably like Tanya's cars in real life... if I could drive. And l love the grounds at the Pascoes' house. But I'd have no need at all for a swimming pool though.
HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY REAL FOOTBALLERS OR FOOTBALLERS' WIVES? DID THEY HAVE ANY REACTION TO THE SERIES?
Yes - I met Teddy Sheringham. He was lovely and said that he liked the show. I also met Sol Campbell when he filmed a cameo appearance in the second series. He was also lovely. I assume that he likes the show - he was in it.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
Go home to Yorkshire to see my mum and dad and my brothers and sister. I also go to stay with my best friend Sally, my god-child Molly and her other kids. I also go to nice restaurants with friends, watch films, read, worry, learn lines, go shopping...
