TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.
Chardonnay's moved on a lot from the first series. Her modelling days are behind her and she loves the new baby. She's still very much in love with Kyle but the baby's definitely become her first priority. She doesn't seem to find it a problem that the baby isn't really hers, and that the real mother's living under the same roof.

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING IN FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
The people I get to work with, because we all know each other this time round and it's made it even better. I love working with Gary and Gillian. And this series has been great because I've got to work a lot more with Zoe who plays Tanya. I always thought it was a shame in the last series that there wasn't more interaction with the women. I love how extreme and how tongue-in-cheek the show can be. It's so different to anything else on TV at the moment. I think you've got to have the right sense of humour for Footballers' Wives - it's intended to be over the top. Also, I love the fact that I've been lucky enough to have Errol Douglas doing my hair since the end of the last series!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?
Chardonnay's very loyal. She's a brilliant friend to Tanya, and she's great with Kyle and Paddy. But if she doesn't like someone, like Jason, she'll make it very clear. There are so many different levels to her. She's not the brightest girl, but she's very kind-hearted. She can be both strong and vulnerable - and she's always strong when people need her.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER AT ALL? HOW DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD GET ON WITH THEM IF YOU MET THEM IN REAL LIFE?
I don't think I'd ever get myself into the situations that Chardonnay does - but then again, I don't think many people would! She's a nice girl, but we're very different. I like to think I've got a lot more common sense.

DO YOU LIKE THE CLOTHES THAT YOUR CHARACTER WEARS? WOULD YOU WEAR THEM AS YOURSELF?
I do like the clothes that we've used this series. There's been a few more casual scenes because of the storylines, so we've had a whole variety. We've used a lot of Maria Grachvogel which is beautiful, Kyri, Ghirani Strock, Juicy Couture, Maharishi, Earl Jeans, Custo Barcelona, Zara...

WHAT DO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY THINK OF YOUR ROLE IN FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
My friends and family have all been very supportive, as I knew they would be. They've all watched it - even my ninety-year-old grandad.

HOW DO PEOPLE REACT TO YOU IN THE STREET?
People who come up to me when I'm out are always great. I thought that girls might not react well to me because of the character I was playing, but I was completely wrong - they've been really nice. I'm always getting asked if I've recovered from the burning accident and if I really did cut my hair, or if it was a wig!

WHAT SCENE HAVE YOU MOST ENJOYED OR HATED FILMING SO FAR?
Paddy's christening was a nightmare to film. I had to be up at 4.30am to get my hair done, one minute it would be pouring with rain and the next minute it would be boiling hot. And I had a piece of jewellery on my head worth a quarter of a million pounds, which meant that I had to have a security guard with me at all times! I enjoy filming the emotional scenes, although they can be a bit draining. And there was one scene where Chardonnay was interviewing Tanya on her chatshow, which Zoe and I really loved doing, because it was so funny.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR CHARACTER'S HOUSE? AND THE CARS? DO YOU THINK YOU'D LIKE TO LIVE THAT SORT OF LIFESTYLE?
The house, and the cars that we drive in the show, are fantastic, but I think what Footballers' Wives shows is that no matter how big your house is or how many cars you've got, it doesn't mean that your life's free of problems. In the case of these characters, it's quite the opposite!

HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY REAL FOOTBALLERS OR FOOTBALLERS' WIVES? DID THEY HAVE ANY REACTION TO THE SERIES?
I have met a couple of real footballers and their wives and they've all been really good-humoured about it. Everyone must know that these women don't really go around putting the chairman of their husband's club in a coma, or get their breasts set on fire! It's a heightened drama, not a documentary. From the questions I'm always asked in interviews, I think people would love me to say that I don't like the Beckhams but the truth is I've got no reason not to like them. I've never met them, and anyway from what I know of them, they seem like really nice people, with their priorities in order.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I try to go to the gym when I can which I really enjoy. I think like most people I go through phases where I go all the time and then at other times I hardly go at all. I've always loved shopping and I buy far too many clothes and cosmetics! I love Selfridges and the big Top Shop on Oxford Street. I'm a big fan of the leather designer Jitrois, Fake London, Genius and Maharishi. And I love Clarins, Calvin Klein make-up, and Paul Mitchell hair products. In my time off I just try to spend as much time as I can with my friends because when I'm busy I don't get to see them nearly as much as I'd like to. I spend a lot of time with Katharine and Zoe away from work too. We've become very good friends.
