TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.
Series 2 opens with Holly still missing so Donna is in a very difficult position, trying somehow to continue a normal existence for Ian and for sanity's sake, but her life doesn't mean much without her children. We see it too often in the news how horrific and devastating it is to lose a child and the not knowing is unbearable. Donna and Ian can't grieve for Holly so they are living in limbo and their marriage is becoming more and more empty. Ian loses his job because of his depression and Donna yet again has to be the strong one. Sal is the only person who sees what Donna is going through and is there for her - so Donna continues the affair. Sal brings Donna to life; she's falling more in love with him and is becoming more and more distant from Ian.

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING IN FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
It's a great show with great storylines. All the cast are friends, so you enjoy going to work! Footballers' Wives is camp and over-the-top, but that's what people enjoy about it. It's like a British version of Dallas.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?
Donna doesn't have the crazy life of Tanya or the glamour of Chardonnay but she has integrity and a lot of strength. It's a great role to play because the storylines are so strong. I like that what you see is what you get with Donna, and she's a real survivor.

WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?
Donna can be a bit of misery - but I suppose she hasn't had much to smile about recently. She could do with letting her hair down a bit more often, and not carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER AT ALL? HOW DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD GET ON WITH THEM IF YOU MET THEM IN REAL LIFE?
I think I would get on with Donna. She's very down to earth and unpretentious, like me! We probably share a few similarities - we're both people who follow our hearts and not our heads. She has had a tough life and she's got children, so our lives are very different, but I think she'd be a good mate to have. She's very loyal and caring.

DO YOU LIKE THE CLOTHES THAT YOUR CHARACTER WEARS? WOULD YOU WEAR THEM AS YOURSELF?
Donna dresses in a more ordinary way than the other girls. She feels a bit uncomfortable in the designer dresses and the footballers' wife style. Some of the stuff I wear in the show is OK, but it's not my style! I love the fact that when Donna does try and dress up, she always gets it a little bit wrong.

WHAT DO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY THINK OF YOUR ROLE IN FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
They all enjoy the show and think it's great.

HOW DO PEOPLE REACT TO YOU IN THE STREET? DO YOU GET RECOGNISED?
When the show is on I get recognised quite a lot - people are always very positive and nice. I find it funny when men come over and say they don't watch it, but their girlfriend does... then within minutes they are asking what happens next and you know it's just that they don't want to admit that really they love it! A lot of people want to know what happens to Holly and whether I get my daughter.

WHAT SCENE HAVE YOU MOST ENJOYED OR HATED FILMING SO FAR (IN EITHER SERIES ONE OR TWO)?
It's always good fun filming the big emotional scenes because they're a challenge and you can get your teeth stuck into them. There were some horrible scenes to do with Holly's kidnap, like having to identify the clothes of a little girl to establish whether they were hers, that I found quite disturbing. At first I hated filming sex scenes, but Nathan (Constance) and Daniel (Schutzmann) are my mates so you just laugh about it and forget you're even doing it. You can be chatting about what you had for lunch, someone shouts action and you snog, and then you just carry on the conversation. I couldn't complain - they're both gorgeous!

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR CHARACTER'S HOUSE? AND THE CARS? DO YOU THINK YOU'D LIKE TO LIVE THAT SORT OF LIFESTYLE?
I wouldn't say no to a beautiful house with a pool and a flashy car - but I'd have my house done in a very different style to Ian and Donna's. Much less leopard print...

HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY REAL FOOTBALLERS OR FOOTBALLERS' WIVES? DID THEY HAVE ANY REACTION TO THE SERIES?
I've met a couple, but luckily they seemed to see the funny side!

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I spend a lot of time with friends and as I live with four girlfriends, we're always up to something!
