Eva de Wolffe's Jewels
A jeweller called Geoffrey Rowlandson provided all the jewellery that adorns Eva de Wolffe (Joan Collins). Geoffrey makes one-off pieces for stars such as Britney Spears and Rebecca DeMornay and his work has also been on display at The Victoria and Albert Museum.
In the storyline, Eva goes to the opera wearing a beautiful exotic necklace which is made of the stone Tanzanite. The jewels were so precious the jeweller Geoffrey Rowlandson had to be in attendance at all times. Tanzanite originates at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and is one thousand times rarer than diamonds. Geoffrey says the intense colour acts as huge inspiration for his designs.
The beautiful purple dress Eva wears to the opera is a one off design by the fashion designer Neil Cunningham.
